The Ford Super Duty features an all-new exterior that includes a signature "C-clamp" lighting that creates a planted and wide look in the front of the vehicle with LED headlamps that are now available on all trim levels. There are seven new grilles that were engineered to maximize cooling performance while under heavy loads. Long side vents reduce under-hood air pressure to improve the vehicle's aerodynamics. The Ford Super Duty has an excellent cabin that has been built to further enhance every driving experience with its 8-inch center display that comes standard on the XL model and a 12-inch display standard with higher trim levels, max Recline Seats that fold almost horizontally and lift the seat bottom up for a nearly flat surface, four USB power ports and available wireless charging pad, and center console slot that holds a tablet upright to make using it easier when parked.
Engine options for the 2023 Ford Super Duty
The 2023 Ford Super Duty has four advanced and upgraded powertrain options. The Super Duty comes newly standard with a 6.8-liter V8 gas engine which targets more low-end torque to make merging onto highways and starting on steep grades. The second engine option is a 7.3-liter V8. This engine targets the best torque and horsepower in the class with its improved air intake and tuning. The third engine option is a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel. This engine can stay on the job longer due to its ability to go longer intervals between oil changes. Lastly, the Ford Super Duty has an available 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel with a unique turbo. This engine features unique tuning targeting the best horsepower and torque in the class and upgraded exhaust manifolds.
Safety and security features for Ford Super Duty
The 2023 Ford Super Duty has an array of upgraded available and standard safety and security features. For example, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering automatically accelerates and brakes to a preset speed and helps keep the vehicle in its own lane. More safety and security features include Full-color head-up display, a Forward/Reverse Sensing System, and Trailer Theft Alert. The Trailer Theft Alert system sends an alert to the FordPass app on the driver's phone if anyone attempts to disconnect the trailer when the truck has been locked. The Forward/Reverse Sensing System allows every driver to feel confident during every commute by showing objects immediately in front of the vehicle and warns the driver when objects come in close proximity to the rear or front of the vehicle.
